American Airlines Flight 2118 from Orlando International Airport, Florida, to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona, was forced to make an emergency diversion to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, November 23.
A strange odor was reported in the cabin and cockpit, which caused some passengers and crew to be hospitalized upon landing in Houston. American Airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have both issued a response to the incident.
