PHOENIX — A United Airlines flight from Chicago to Phoenix had to make an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday morning after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.
The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the Boeing 757 safely landed shortly before noon. Emergency crews made a brief inspection and United was able to move passengers onto other flights.
