On the morning of April 28, 2025, a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Chennai experienced a technical issue that required the aircraft to make an emergency landing at Chennai International Airport (MAA). The incident, which occurred approximately 20 minutes before landing, was caused by a brake system malfunction aboard the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
